Someone took my facebook account

Micki got the call from a friend and wanted to know why we were home. Micki told her friend that we only went to Orlando for one night to visit an old friend. She said you haven’t been in London and Micki said “No’. Her friend told her that I was on facebook asking to for money so we could get back to the states.
Then we got other calls all having the same message send money via Western Union. Then two of my good friends call and asked how to I got back from London so fast because they were just chatted with me.
To my knowledge not anybody wired any money, but it does show you you’re not as safe as you think you are on the Internet.
I did some Google search and found the same scam. Here is how it goes. I have been held up by gun point and the bandit took everything, so can you wire me some money through Western Union to some address. This scam has been around facebook for some time.
I still don’t know how to deal with this problem, but I did post a message saying that it was scam and disregard any requests for money.
Can you help me? How to I let facebook know about this scam and what else can I do about it?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
